Generally, the best type of water to use in making green tea is soft water (low in calcium and other minerals) that is very slightly acidic. If using tap water, it is best to boil it first to remove any chlorine odor. If using bottled mineral water, hard water (high in calcium or magnesium) should be avoided.

Preparing Delicious Cup of Green Tea
Now we will step by step go through the right procedure to prepare the Green Tea, But before starting lets clear something important that is base of preparing Green Tea. So, what you think what is the basic component for preparing tea ?, Obviously it is water.
Ingredients:
- One Tea Spoon Green Leaves
- One cup of Water
Steps To Prepare Green Tea :
Step 1. Take a cup of water which you consider good for preparing Green Tea as specified above, pour it to a kettle and heat it to 180°F or 80°C. I would like to suggest you not to use microwave to heat the water as it can make water unfit for Green Tea.
Step 2. Now fill a tea strainer or sieve with one tea spoon of Green Leaves and place it on the glass in which we are gonna prepare the Green Tea.
Step 3. Slowly pour the hot water into the Glass or mug, you should not use extreme hot water, steep the strainer into the hot water for 2-3 minutes, No longer as steeping the tea leaves for longer can make your tea taste bitter.
Step 4. Now remove the tea strainer from the mug and let it cool down for a few moments and your delicious cup of Green Tea is ready.
For taste you can add honey to the cup of your Green Tea.
Do You Know?
- Never steep the tea leaves for any longer as it makes your tea taste bitter.
- Also never steep the tea leaves in extreme hot water.
- Tea connoisseurs do not recommend the usage of microwave to heat the water.
- Never touch your green tea leaves with your fingers and always you a clean spoon while preparing as they are very sensitive and can easily lack freshness and nutrition.
- Drink your green tea only when it is warm or little hot and freshly made.
- Do not drink cold tea as there are chances that it will hurt your organs.
- Also do not drink the liquid tea after 5pm as you cannot have a good sleep and this may lead to insomnia.
