How To Set Godaddy Domain To Blogger

Godaddy, one of the leading domain seller and hosting service provider in the world. It has a wide amount of customers worldwide who like to purchase domains from Godaddy. One common problem that occurs is in setting godaddy domain to blogger. Many of my friends use to ask me how to set godaddy domain to blogger. Today, I will tell you the easy way to set your godaddy domain to blogger step by step. Hope you have purchased your domain from godaddy if not get it here godaddy.com. Setting Godaddy domain to blogger

After purchasing a godaddy domain follow the following steps to set your godaddy domain to your blogger blog.

Step 1 > Go to Godaddy > Domains > Manage My Domains

Step 2 > In your domain section click on Settings Button on the top right corner and under the menu click on Domain Details.

Step 3 > Now click on DNS ZONE FILE tab and scroll down to CNAME and delete the CNAME with Host www and Points to @

After deleting the CNAME scroll up to Add Record which is just below DNS ZONE FILE tab


Adding a New record


Step 4 > Now select the option CName from the menu and add the cname as 
                                                HOST - www
                                       POINTS TO - ghs.google.com
like shown below in the screenshot.

Click on ADD ANOTHER button.

Step 5 > Login to your Blogger Dashboard > Settings > Set up a third-party URL for your blog



Step 6 > Now Enter your domain and click on Save button you will get en error which will look like

Copy Name and Destination as shown in above screenshot.

Step 7 > Go back to Godaddy and again add a new CNAME with above two copied Name and Destination and save the CNAME by clicking on finish.

Now we have done adding the CNAME now next is to create A(HOST)

Step 8 > Scroll to A(Host) and delete the existing A(Host)

Step 9 > Now again go to Add Record and add a A (Host)


Now add a new A(Host) with
Host - @
Point To - 216.239.32.21



Now similarly add 3 more A(Host) records with HOST = @ as common in all and in POINT TO add the following
216.239.34.21
216.239.36.21
216.239.38.21

Step 10 > Go back to blogger and Click on Save button and after saving click on edit in front of your domain name and select the check box and again click on save


Now you have successfully added your Godaddy domain to blogger if face some problem you are free to ask in comments.
