How to set Bigrock domain to Blogspot 

Blogspot also known as Blogger is one of the biggest network for creating free blogs, only in U.S there are more then 31 million bloggers. Whenever you make a blog on blogger (blogspot) you get a subdomain like example.blogspot.com and most of us wants to replace it with a premium domain.



Blogger provides option to add your own domain to your blog and it is very good thing about it, most of the people use Bigrock to purchase domains and find it little difficult to set their custom bigrock domain to blogger but now no need to worry today in this tutorial you will learn how to add bigrock custom domain to your blogger (blogspot) blog.

Now we will learn step by step how to set bigrock custom domain to blogger, after purchasing the domain follow these steps to set your bigrock domain to blogger.

Step 1 > Login to you Bigrock account > Manage Orders > List/Search orders > Select the domain

Step 2 > Go to DNS Management and open it

Step 3 > Go to A Records and create a new A record

Step 4 > Leave Host name blank and fill  216.239.32.21 in Destination IPv4 Address *: and 28800 in TTL * :

Now repeat the process and create 3 more A records with following IPv4 Address

216.239.34.21
216.239.36.21
216.239.38.21

and keep the TTL same as 28800 for all.


Step 5 > Now after creating all 4 A records go to CNAME records and create a CNAME

Step 6 > Now in the Host name field write www and in value select the second option and insert ghs.google.com  in the field and keep TTL 28800

Step 6 > Login to your Blogger Dashboard > Settings > Basic > Setup a third partry url > insert your domain name > click on save

it will show an error with Name and Destination copy them from there

Step 7 > Go back to bigrock and create another Cname record and add these two in the name field and value field and let the TTL remain same as 28800

Click on Add Record.

Step 8 > Go back to blogger and click on save button

save changes


After completing all above steps it may take few hours to update DNS settings, usually take an hour and if you are still not able to save changes in blogger do it few hours later and your custom bigrock domain is set to blogger.
